Explore, explain and use vocabulary to consolidate its meaning with your students

As science teachers, we introduce new words to our students virtually every lesson, tier 3 vocabulary – subject specific vocabulary. To embed this vocabulary you can use a graphic organiser to help students explore it, explain its meaning and use it to consolidate its meaning.
