How to bridge the gap between the ‘seen’ science and the ‘unseen’ explanation
It is the job of science teachers to make science accessible. This presents its own challenges as science happens at a visible level, but the explanations often occur at an unseen or abstract level. Modelling can bridge the gap between the seen and unseen. This article describes how to use Johnstone’s triangle as the model.
