Learn how to design effective MCQs – and use them successfully

Multiple choice questions are a useful tool for checking students’ understanding as a starter or plenary activity, or within a longer assessment. All multiple choice questions include distractor (incorrect) answers. This article looks at the different designs and their benefits, and includes a suggested set of questions with the opportunity to use them via Socrative.
