Try these chemistry puzzles based on sudoku to help 16–18 year old students consolidate their knowledge about key topics, with printable worksheets and answers.

Stimulate and challenge your students using these printable ‘gridlock’ puzzles. Each sudoku-style puzzle addresses a topic relevant to 16–18 year olds studying chemistry, from the Born-Haber cycle to molecular geometry. Students actively review the relationships between key chemical ideas, data and examples, before applying their knowledge to complete a series of grid-based puzzles according to the rules provided.
