Use this experiment to demonstrate the different behaviours of weak and strong acids
This video demonstration of a conductometric titration emphasises the differences in the composition of solutions of strong and weak acids in neutralisation reactions. It would be appropriate either at the beginning or end of a unit where comparisons are made between pH curves and conductivity. Watch the video of the experiment, read the article for the teaching goals and more insight, then download the technician notes to help your school’s science technicians prepare the experiment.
