Discover the properties of silver compounds with redox reactions, complex formation and colour/state changes. Includes kit list and safety instructions.

In this practical, students will take silver nitrate and explore how it reacts with chloride, bromide, and iodide solutions. This gives students the opportunity to delve deeper into the properties of silver, and discover the differences as it is exposed to these other solutions.
