Use this research context to show students how, and why, industry recover their catalysts
Researchers have found a way to improve recovery of same state, or homogeneous, catalysts that are important to industry. The process uses electrochemistry to separate out the precious metal catalysts and uses less energy than current methods, reducing the carbon footprint of separating out the catalyst once a reaction is done.
