Assess your post-16 learners’ current knowledge and understanding of polymers, mechanisms and more

Use the resource with your A-level and equivalent learners to help them practise unfamiliar, context-based questions. The worksheet is designed for learners to assess their current level of knowledge and understanding of addition and condensation polymers, organohalogen compounds’ environmental concerns, nucleophilic reaction mechanisms and intermolecular forces. They will also review naming and drawing the formulas of organic compounds. Learners can attempt the worksheet individually, as a group or as a ‘think-pair-share’ activity. You can also use the questions as exam practice, with a recommended time limit of 30 minutes.
