Review your learners’ understanding of electrochemistry and its applications

Electrochemical cells have important commercial applications as portable electricity supplies to power electronic devices. Use lithium-ion cells to provide context to your A-level and equivalent learners and review their understanding of standard conditions, half-equations and oxidation numbers. Identify misconceptions they may have in distinguishing between electrolytic and galvanic cells too.
