Challenge learners to explore alternative models, using plasticine and cocktail sticks

This resource is made up of four learner activities including:

  • questions to help explore an alternative model;
  • physical modelling activity using plasticine and cocktail sticks;
  • group discussion task;
  • independent research task.

The activities are delivered via a student worksheet and presentation slides. Answers are given in the presentation and in the teacher notes.
