Led by Dr Karen Marshall Head of Science at The Ladies College Guernsey this session will look at ways to teach scientific models and how to develop deeper understanding by using different models.

This session is the third in a series covering the effective, evidence-based principles of the EEF Improving secondary science guidance which were also featured in the EiC series 7 simple rules for science teaching. The sessions are aimed at NQTs and probationers but open to all. Each session will be run by a different experienced teacher or trainer from the South West of England and the Channel Islands. The session leaders will share examples of good practice and what works for them in the classroom.
