Join us for our teaching rates of reaction for post -16 chemistry live online course.

This session will be delivered by professional teacher developers and is designed to support teachers at any stage of their career, who want support with teaching rates of reaction for post -16 chemistry.

The rates session extends some of the key ideas introduced in the pre-16 course that are required for successful post-16 study. The analysis and interpretation of data obtained from practical investigation are explored in detail and common student misconceptions identified with suggestions made to rectify these. Where possible, reference is made to practical ways to deepen students’ understanding of the underlying principles of rates of reaction.
