Teaching with animations, models & simulations – live online PD course delivered by professional teacher developers

Student looking at a molecular model

Monday 10 May, 15.45–16.45 BST, online

Join us for our teaching with animations, models & simulations live online course.

This session will be delivered by professional teacher developers and is designed to support teachers at any stage of their career, who want support with teaching using  animations, models & simulations.

You will look at models in science and specifically how to help students understand the way that chemists use models to explain what is happening at the microscopic level of atoms, ions and molecules. This will be followed by a look at how animations and simulations can be used to support traditional teaching methods and practical work by helping students visualise what is happening as well as develop a deeper understanding of the subject.
