Forever chemicals don’t break down and may be more common than we thought. A new study finds substantial per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) contamination in global water supplies and highlights the potential health risks, such as testicular cancer, thyroid disease, infertility and developmental defects in unborn children.
