Meet the Universities (MTU) is returning this summer. MTU is a free event that offers students considering a degree in the chemical sciences the opportunity to meet representatives from over 30 institutions - without the hassle of attending many separate open days.

This year the event will be held both at the University of Leeds on Saturday 29 June and in London on Saturday 6 July. Universities attending include Bristol, Cardiff, Durham and York.

At the event students can chat informally to admissions and departmental staff to find out more about a particular course or university. Current students will also be on hand to offer information about campus and student life.

Students have found previous events very worthwhile;' it was a fantastic experience to talk face-to-face to so many universities in one place. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful and I came back with so much info!' and 'an incredibly informative, positive and encouraging experience'.

The event is organised by RSC ChemNet, the RSC's network for 14-18 year olds. Entrance to MTU is free, but students are required to register in advance.
