Angela McKeown is the new RSC Regional Coordinator in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Linsey Robertson is covering maternity leave for Jenny Rodgers as the Scotland Coordinator.

'I'm delighted to have been appointed to this role', said Angela. 'I'm looking forward to meeting chemistry teachers from across Ireland and showing them how the RSC can support them in their work'.

Working in partnership with universities and other higher education providers, the RSC supports 9 Regional Coordinators nationwide. Their aims are to promote RSC education activities, coordinate and enhance regional education provision and collaborate with and generate networks of key stakeholders. The role involves working with teachers to highlight the resources that are freely available through the RSC and supporting chemistry departments and outreach activities in higher education institutions.
