Use a model, feedback, reapply loop to develop students’ practical skills

Developing practical science skills in secondary school chemistry students is essential for success in their course, future study and examinations. In this article, a teacher shares their experience and approach, using a model, feedback, reapply loop. This gives the learners the tools they need to have the best opportunity for success in the lab and in their exams.
