Use the real-world effects of climate change to introduce the UN’s sustainable development goal 13 into your existing teaching
Many of the UN’s sustainable development goals are relevant to chemistry teaching for the age ranges 14–16 and 16–18. Goal 13: take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts can easily fit into your existing teaching of atmospheric pollutants, greenhouse gases, carbon dioxide, solutions, pH and acid/base reactions.
