Schools are invited to apply for grants of up to £3000 to run a project in partnership with a professional scientist or engineer
The Royal Society Partnership Grants scheme helps primary and secondary schools to run exciting and innovative projects which enhance and go beyond the curriculum. Teachers have the opportunity to work alongside practising scientists, allowing them to keep up to date with cutting-edge research. Students have the chance to work in a hands-on environment, gaining a better understanding of what scientists do and the science involved.
Further information is available on the Royal Society website. The deadline for applications is 22 February 2013.
