Researchers in Residence

Funded by Research Councils UK (RCUK) with support from the Wellcome Trust, the Researchers in residence initiative places PhD and postdoctoral researchers in host UK secondary schools as a strategy to enrich the National Curriculum, engage young people with real research and give researchers the opportunity to develop new skills and build their confidence. This revamped site enables schools and researchers to apply online to the scheme, which is free to join, and arrange a placement.

EIC on the Internet

Education in Chemistry's website now has quick links to articles from  The Elements and Chemistry trails series in addition to articles on food, chemistry demonstrations and pdfs of recent InfoChem issues. There is also a link to an index of all the free-to-access articles published on the website.
