Martyn Poliakoff will give a lecture at the University of Nottingham on 8 February, when he accepts the 2011 Nyholm Prize for Education from the RSC.
Famous for his series of videos featuring all 118 elements of the periodic table, the RSC is recognising Martyn for his enthusiastic leadership in taking chemistry to the widest possible audience, using not only traditional channels but also the power of YouTube.
