Over 30 higher education establishments met more than 450 students at Meet the Universities
Over 450 students flocked to Meet the Universities (MTU) 2013 this summer to find out about studying chemistry at university. Attendees discussed their options with representatives from over 30 higher education establishments from across the UK.
For the first time the event was held in both Leeds and London, helping even more students to talk directly to admissions staff and undergraduates.
This year also saw the debut attendance of Student Finance England, who were on hand to give advice on applying for maintenance grants and loans.
One attendee commented: 'The experience I had was very informative. It gave me a great insight into universities that I would have otherwise had to travel a far distance to reach. It helped to finalise my choices and gave me a further insight into careers in chemistry'.
