If you need support for lesson planning, our new topic packages bring together all our relevant and ready-to-use support in one place.
They provide you with everything from key terms and misconceptions to practical experiments, links to careers and literacy skills. Our newest packages are on a fundamental topic for your secondary students: elements, compounds and mixtures at 11–14 and 14–16.
Free professional development opportunity for technicians

Registration is open for the National Conference for Science Technicians 2026. This year’s theme is career development, exploring the skills, frameworks and opportunities available to technicians.
It’s free to attend and open to anyone working in a technician role, so please pass this exciting event on to your technician colleagues. Travel bursaries of up to £150 are available and applications are now open. Online places are also available.
