Education in Chemistry's new blog

FeedbackBubbles

Discussions from the magazine, website and social media

In February we launched our new blog. Our chief blogger is Michael Seery, lecturer in physical chemistry at the Dublin Institute of Technology. Michael’s first post was on implementing a flipped classroom. Lots of readers got in contact ot discuss the post and the ways in which they use flipped teaching.

In the last issue David Read reported on research from the US into anthropomorphism in teaching. Again, this opened up discussion across the social media.

A photograph of a teacher standing in a white lab coat, speaking with a class of children in a laboratory, is superimposed on a colourful background. Text reads "Teach Chemistry means support for classroom and staff room".
