
Andrea Mallaburn
Andrea is a reader in science education at Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU), while her role in Initial Teacher Education (ITE) in the School of Education involves supporting teachers of the future. In addition, Andrea oversees the secondary Chemistry PGCE programme. Before joining LJMU, Andrea dedicated 15 years to teaching Chemistry in a range of secondary schools in London and Liverpool.

When Andrea's not in a laboratory influencing the next generation of science teachers, you'll often find her down the front at a ‘goth gig’, dancing and singing her heart out!
