
Ed Kelly
Ed is an experienced secondary science and outdoor education teacher. He has a master's in engineering and a master’s in education.
He worked in schools until three years ago when he moved to Bangor University to be a lecturer in education. Ed trains the science area of the curriculum on the Initial Teacher Education Courses. He has a passion for anything science and digital; he is always looking for new ways to use technology in lessons and is fortunate to be able to share his enthusiasm with the trainee teachers.
Ed's key area of interest is inclusion and accessibility in science education, in particular for ALN or SEN learners. In addition, he is the digital lead for Bangor University and looks at how we can use digital technologies in our teaching more effectively, to give young people the digital skills they need.
