John Cochrane

John studied chemistry at the University of Glasgow, after which he completed his PDGE in chemistry with science at the University of Strathclyde. He has been teaching at Greenfaulds High School in Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire, since completing his PGDE in 2007.

John has a passion for supporting student teachers, working closely with associate primary schools for transition events, and exhibition chemistry. In 2022, he was a member of the UK delegation for Science on Stage in Prague.

In John's spare time, he likes to spend time with family, play golf (badly), watch movies and cook.
