Kate is a chemistry teacher turned science writer based in the Scottish Highlands. She is always keen to experiment with new ways to maximise engagement and attainment for all her students.
Kate has an MChem degree in chemistry with advanced chemistry from the University of St Andrews. She has previously worked as a sub-editor at New Scientist magazine, and enjoys writing on science and education.
Kate has a blog. When she is not teaching, Kate can usually be found trail running.
