Mustafa Mahmoud
Mustafa Mahmoud is an RSC scholar and a secondary school teacher of chemistry and physics. His background includes a masters is in pure chemistry as well as a doctorate was in computational chemistry bridging the gap between chemistry and physics with a focus on designing graphene nanoflake models to make cement more durable. Mustafa is currently the science enrichment and extracurricular coordinator in his place of employment.
Mustafa's interest is making science more accessible for all through including relevant links to a pupil's daily life to the topic being taught, increasing uptake of participation in enrichment, and adopting a teaching approach that leaves no one behind. Because of this he likes to always keep up with my academic reading to look for new ideas and be well informed. Mustafa's interest and my current role go hand in hand.
