Education in Chemistry has launched its first mobile app

Updated June 2018: We have retired the Education in Chemistry mobile apps and online web reader. You’ll be able to find all of the articles from our print magazine on this site in a format designed for reading on a phone, tablet or desktop computer. You’ll also see many more online-only articles to support teaching, and be able to download resources, teaching ideas and worksheets linked to our articles.

Education in Chemistry has launched its first app for mobile devices. The magazine is now available on iOS and Android and also in a web reader version.

In addition to bimonthly issues of Education in Chemistry magazine, app readers will also have access to themed supplements on emerging topics in chemical education.

To celebrate the launch, all the latest issues of the magazine will be free to download.

Education in Chemistry supports chemistry teachers across secondary, further and higher education, by providing fascinating feature articles, news and opinion, research in chemistry education, demonstrations and reviews of the latest resources.

‘These apps will help us reach a much wider audience,’ says Karen J Ogilvie, editor of Education in Chemistry. ‘But, more importantly, our content is now much closer to where teachers need it. You don’t have to worry about losing your copy in the staffroom anymore!’
