Play this Only Connect style game to get students thinking about themes around energy and the sun

Instructions

  • Cut out the 16 cards and lay them on the table.
  • Sort them out into four groups by working out the connections. All the connections have something to do with energy and the sun.
  • There will be exactly four cards in each group.

For example:

case, mark, shop, worm

  • All can have the word book in front of them.

fountain, pig, marker, highlighter

  • All types of pens.

Number one is the easiest, number four the hardest. Be careful though, there might be some red herrings!
