
Alex Lathbridge
Alex is a science journalist and audio producer. He has a PhD in biochemistry from the University of Bath, with a background in cancer, computational biochemistry and novel peptide therapeutics.
He produces and presents science and technology stories for the BBC World Service, Nature, Channel 4 and many more. This work has taken him all over the globe, from polar seed vaults to tropical rainforests. Alex presents the BBC's podcast Bitesize biology – taking listeners through the entire GCSE biology syllabus in 10 minute chunks.
He is also the presenter for the RSC's podcast Brought to you by chemistry.
