Use this worksheet to develop learners’ understanding of solutions as they observe how salt and sand behave in water
Develop learners’ thinking about solutions at three different conceptual levels: macroscopic, sub-microscopic and symbolic.
This resource is made up of a Johnstone’s triangle worksheet which can be used to introduce the three different conceptual levels, plus teacher notes with guidance, a learner activity and answers.
