Thursday 24 September, 7–8pm (BST), online

Explore the support available from the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), with guidance on resources and training to enhance your teaching of chemistry.
Session outcomes
By the end of the session, you will:
- Know how the RSC can support teachers
- Know where to find support and resources from the RSC
Session information
This session will give you a brief introduction to the RSC and how it supports teachers with chemistry teaching. As all science teachers teach some chemistry, you will explore a range of freely available resources and training opportunities. This includes support for non-specialists and practical classroom materials designed to build confidence in teaching chemistry. This session is run by Katy Bray, an experienced chemistry teacher and former head of science, now education coordinator (South East) for the RSC.
This is part of the early career teacher support series. The series is fully funded, delivered online and aimed at early career teachers (up to five years’ experience), with value for all science teachers seeking a refresher.
This session is developed in line with our professional development standards.
