Stuart Strathdee

Before training as a teacher, Stuart spent nine years working in the pharmaceutical industry advising companies worldwide on product development and investment strategy. He has taught chemistry for fourteen years at schools and colleges in Yorkshire, with the last four as part of the eleven-strong team of A-level Chemistry teachers at Greenhead College in Huddersfield.

Keen to use his industry experience, Stuart contributes to several STEM-related enrichment activities at Greenhead. These include the Real World Chemistry project, which he launched in 2017 in collaboration with Huddersfield University’s School of Applied Sciences.
