Jasper Green
Jasper Green is founder of thescienceteacher.co.uk – a website for secondary teachers sharing ideas, resources and pedagogy to help teach key concepts in biology, chemistry and physics.
Jasper began his teaching career working in London secondary schools before becoming head of science at Mossbourne Community Academy in Hackney. He joined Ark Schools in 2015 as network lead for science, later becoming head of curriculum and assessment. Jasper is passionate about teacher education, and is especially interested in understanding the roles played by theory, practice and curriculum resources in developing and retaining science teachers.
He is currently writing a book about science teaching and is a senior teaching fellow in science education at UCL's Institute of Education.
