Michael Jerstice
Mike has been teaching chemistry for ten years and is currently head of chemistry and head of integrated science. As a part of these roles he enjoys mentoring newly qualified teachers (NQTs) and coaching and motivating his more senior colleagues. Mike’s passion for both chemistry and teaching were cemented by the recent undertaking of an MSc at Oxford and by previous research into teaching creativity in the sciences.
