Take the survey today so we give you more of the content you want
EiC is inviting you to take part in our biennial reader survey so we can make our content even better and give you more of what you want and need. The survey should only take you 15 minutes to complete and is open until Friday 12 December 2025.
Building on previous years’ findings, the 2025 survey will help us plan our content for 2026 and beyond. In 2023 when we last asked you, 937 of you told us what you like (and don’t like) about the things you read in our magazine, online and in print. You shared you find the quality of content and writing in EiC overwhelmingly excellent and good. And that you find it easy and enjoyable to read, covering a range of topics. Just over a fifth of you said you would like fewer interviews in 2023, so we’ve not done as many recently and revamped the format of those we do.
The EiC team love creating useful and engaging articles for your teaching. Tell us what’s important to you now so EiC gives you even more of the content you want in the future.

The types of content you loved the most in 2023 were how to teach chemistry articles, resources and professional development features – all of which you asked for more of too. You also showed a lot of love for our videos, experiments and infographic posters.
With all of this in mind, the EiC and wider Education team have published curated content to support your teaching over the last two years. From 11 new Ways to teach classroom ideas articles and 20 CPD articles to 12 Exhibition chemistry and four award-shortlisted practical videos. You asked and we delivered. What would you like to see next?
