Vikki Cantrill
Vikki is a freelance science writer and editor who specialises in chemistry and education.
Vikki completed a PhD in organic chemistry at the University of Birmingham, and spent a year as a postdoc at the University of St Andrews before she joined the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) as an assistant editor in 2001. During her 10 years with the RSC, Vikki worked as a science correspondent for Chemistry World, as managing editor for the organic journals portfolio, and as programme manager for the National HE STEM Programme.
In 2006, Vikki started to work freelance and now enjoys writing and editing for a number of publications in addition to working with independent researchers to prepare grants and papers.
