Colin McGill
Colin McGill is a lecturer in education on the PGDE programmes at Edinburgh Napier University. He leads the Learning & Teaching modules for all subject areas, and is responsible for subject-specific development of the students on the PGDE chemistry programme.
Prior to this, he was a chemistry teacher and then a principal teacher of science in schools in central Scotland. As well as supporting and developing student teachers, his interests lie in subject-specific professional development of chemistry teachers and the effective use of practical work in science classrooms.
He still likes to think of himself as a runner.
