How to teach reading in science

Professional scientists and engineers teach themselves to read subject texts, at least until college. For students, college is too late; they’ll have dropped sciences at 16. Science teachers need to teach students to read technical texts to ensure they succeed and continue with science post 16. This article proposes two ways to do just that.
