A flow diagram activity to bring together learning about the greenhouse effect and climate change, with questions to consolidate understanding
Draw a flow diagram with your learners to help them bring together what they have learned about the greenhouse effect and climate change. The student worksheet provides questions, including short-answer, calculation and longer-response to explore and consolidate this understanding. Climate change is a big topic in GCSE and equivalent 14–16 courses, consisting of many parts. Learners can lose track of how these topics fit together and link to the global conversation about the greenhouse effect and climate change.
The diagram shows how human activity increases greenhouse gases, contributing to global warming and causing climate change leading to extreme weather events.
