Learners evaluate and discuss ideas about ionic bonding, the formation of ions and energetics

Our stretch and challenge collection contains extension resources that are designed to fit into curriculum topics to provide individual or whole class challenge.

This resource is made up of a student sheet and lesson slides presenting a problem, four opinions and a table for evaluating the opinions as explanations. The teacher guidance and lesson slides provide a discussion of the answers. Suitable to provide challenge for learners studying for upper-secondary qualifications, such as GCSE, National 5 or Leaving certificate or post-16 learners.
