Use these sudoku-inspired puzzles with printable worksheets and answers to help 14–16 year olds consolidate their understanding of key chemical concepts.

Challenge and engage your students with these printable ‘gridlock’ puzzles. Based on sudoku, each puzzle focuses on a specific topic suitable for 14–16 year olds, from allotropes of carbon to types of bonding. Students check their understanding of the connections between key chemical ideas and data, before applying their knowledge to complete a series of grids according to the rules provided.

Each puzzle is available for download as a printable worksheet with answers included.
