Andy Chandler-Grevatt
Andy is an experienced secondary school science teacher and advanced skills teacher. He has a doctorate in assessment in science education and is a senior lecturer in science education at the University of Brighton, where he trains science teachers and is the assessment editor at Oxford University Press (OUP) for Activate.
Andy is interested in making formative assessment meaningful in the classroom and explores ways to implement it in the classroom. He has researched assessment and trained teachers in Kazakhstan, China and Canada. Andy also is an active member of the Association for Science Education, being chair for the Surrey and Sussex Region and is on the national 11–19 committee.
